Welcome to the Sonar Fleet 14 Mailing List
Any interested party is welcome to sign up to the Listserver. Theres is no restriction on who may be a subscriber. We, the Fleet, want any and all interested parties to subscribe. The only restriction is that it will only accept announcements from a subscribed email adress. Therefore, if a person subscribes throught their work email, and then attempts to send an announcement from a different email address, the list-server won't accept the announcement.
We will also use our web page at http://www.marblehead.com/harbor/sonar to post general information but it may not be as current as the info shared here and you have to remember to look at the webpage whereas email is immediately sent to everyone on the mailing list.
Purpose and Policies:
We encourage the use of this Sonar Mailing List among fleet members to promote communications of general interest about Sonar business. Users should remember that only email addresses registered to this list may send messages to the list-server or receive messages from the list-server. If you want to get messages and send messages from both your business and home email addresses, you must register both addresses.
Things which may be of general interest include: results, schedules, announcements, technical Q&A, pointers to URLs, etc.
If you have a specific person to address, please email him/her directly, since each message sent to the Sonar List-server goes to the whole list.
We want to protect this list from spam, so please do NOT register this list as an email address or give it out to others for any purpose other than for a person to join the list (which we encourage).
