Racing has started for the 2011 season here in Marblehead. Between the Saturday MRA races, Wednesday night sailing at the BYC, and Thursday night team racing out of the Eastern, there are more than 40 potential race days to build and test your skills. The highlights of the racing season will be Marblehead Race Week and a number of team racing events culminating with EYC's Halloween Team race on, not surprisingly, Halloween weekend in late October.

We had our season opening party on Memorial Day Weekend at the Altreuter's home. We are planning more events over the course of the season and will annouce those on the google group list -- MarbleheadSonar. You can join the group directly by going to the Google Groups site.
